Hi everyone. Super happy to join this instance, as I want to network more with kindred spirits intent on pushing "things" forward a bit (until they go crashing to the ground?). @b Good question. Let's say, towards more enjoyment of life everywhere (love, freedom, creativity), and less suffering (political and social oppression, destruction of nature and mass extinction of other species)... How about that?
that's something we can all hold as common ground
@b I hope so... Although I can think of a few dictators, religious fanatics and billionaires who might not see these goals as their priority ;)
@daoyang not enough people realize we have more in common than difference. the debate about how to achieve these goods is where civility need remain
@b I'm all for civility... Although I wish the people who cling so desperately to their power and possessions - as a mistaken way to be happy - would be less brutal and more civil with those who challenge them (see what's happening in the French ZAD for a recent example, among too many others)
