Op initiatief van Doorbraak vindt op 2 september een brainstormbijeenkomst plaats ter voorbereiding van actie tegen de publieke omroep NTR en het Sinterklaasjournaal, een van de producties van die omroep. De afgelopen jaren zijn al meerdere acties tegen de NTR ondernomen. 1. Centralized.
2. They forced you to ID yourself with a phone number.
3. They hand your data to third party companies.
4. Most governments were using it to ID people saying bad things about them.
5. Ads and corporative campaigns.

Looking for decent, informative, #leftist, #socialist podcasts (or any material really!). Does anyone have any recommendations? I know enough to know I need to know more, but the themes seem scattered and deep.

I haven't followed much of the #EU summit, but here's what you need to know:
- more #frontex
- more EU borders
- 3 billions more to #Erdogan 's #turkey for their refugee program related to #syria
- 'Kontrollierte Zentren' (KZ) (controlled centers, hotspots..) within #EU
- 'Ausschiffungsplattformen' (some organized place to collect and push refugees out) outside of EU
- centers are voluntarly for each country
(happens just after resque ships were prohibited from entering EU)

Microsoft said they are proud to support ICE. #GitHub is one of their product that makes microsoft look like a great company, since even 'all' the opensource devs are there.
The current situation requires to take position against any major company that supports ICE.
