A station in #Amsterdam just opened a new bus station section after some renovations, so I went to look on #osm to see if it's updated, and it's all perfectly layed-out, while #GoogleMaps has done a half-job where the roads aren't there but there's bus stops floating in the middle of nowhere.
I like that there's enough #opensource enthusiasts here that things like that are fixed right on release. Neat to see what some community love can do to a project like that.
Maps.@joop Yes absolutely. This is because on GM shops etc can add themselves, because of commercial reasons.
@jeroenpraat I find that shops etc tend to be hit/miss though. i'm considering walking around the neighbourhood checking what is or isn't on osm and adjusting it when i get home, but there's so much to check...
