What is the best light-weight web browser for ? Must have recent HTML/CSS specs. Multimedia mandatory.

@Wraptile It's for someone without much computer skills, so Qutebrowser is nice, but not suitable i think.

@jeroenpraat I'd go with firefox + ublock and all that jazz then if the person in charge is not very tech-literate :P

@Wraptile No Firefox is to heavy in resources. I tried that. This PC has ~740 RAM. Trying now Midori and Falkon.

@thufir I understand Falkon is not HTML5 compliant?

@jeroenpraat I am actually not sure. I use falkon as my tor-browser since it is more lightweight but still has adblock and userscript support.

Eventually went with Gnome Web, formerly know as . I thought it needed a lot of GTK3 dependencies, but no it didn't. Epiphany is great, fast, clean and up-to-date.

Why not ?

Still beta and not updated since 2015.

Why not ?

Is a KDE app (means extra dependencies), and only installable via Flatpak.

Why not ?

This install is used by an unexperienced computer user.
