Someone counted, apparently there's been 1500 mayors (since 1343) in Amsterdam, and this makes the first woman. (and apparently we used to have 4 mayors at a time, one of which would stay until the next year, with 3 new ones being chosen each year? fascinating)

Update: it was actually a really good movie. Solid character growth. The plot wasn't innovative at all (and a bit predictable) but they made it work.
