Met some nice vegan anarchists at a #juneteenth demonstration for bail reform at the DA's office in my city. Exchanged numbers with them and now dealing with the inevitable imposter syndrome that always follows a conversation with other activists! But at least I met people!
Feeling like I need to dye my hair or paint my nails or wear a dark lipstick... just not feeling my standard look right now.
True love is using your superior photo editing skills to help your future wife patch together an ill-conceived and outdated visual pun in MS paint even though it pains you to the depths of your soul to do so.
Sometimes, when friends are struggling, they *can't* ask for help.
Sometimes active engagement is the right thing to do. We need to lift each other up, and to stop letting our culture dissuade us from doing so.
I can't even count how many times in my messed up life when something like this could have had a huge impact. (Right now is one of those times.)

libraries are such an important space
not only for free information, but especially for at risk populations and homeless populations
they offer free or very cheap internet access (which allows for finding resoucres, job applications, etc), free access to information, bathrooms, often places have refreshments for relatively cheap as well, etc. etc.
wanting to make public libraries obsolete is classist and just an incorrect viewpoint tbh
