openauth that get's enabled by the user through a single click, enabeling them to directly comment with their fediverse account.
thought people from have been working on something similiar. I don't know about the current status.

@macgirvin will know, in case it is of interest to you.

@adrianheine
I donʼt think that can spread widely, unless itʼs a browser plugin. Mostly because getting browser vendors (except maybe Mozilla) to support such a feature natively would be extremely hard, if at all possible.

However, Mastodonʼs remote follow feature might be a good start. When you want to ♥ or share a post, a dialog would pop up asking what account to use. The site might even remember it in a localStorage object or something so you only have to click on your account.

Commenting is a much different beast, though. But might not be too hard.

@gergely @paulfree14 @adrianheine The hubzilla solution is to turn all "in-network" links into remotely authenticated links. Then you go to any page in the network and you are granted any permissions the page owner has allowed. You can connect, comment, like, do wall-to-wall posts, visit "restricted" profiles, see private photos and media, yadda yadda. This is done in a browser independent way.
