So here's the thing: on one hand, there *is* an issue of people calling the Nazi camps (like Auschwitz) "Polsh concentration camps". This is annoying to Poles, and for good reasons.

However, there *were* Poles who collaborated with the Nazis, for various reasons, in various ways. There were Poles complicit in the Holocaust:

@paulfree14 obviously, rewriting the history with a law is not the way to go. I am ashamed that this is happening. Just like I am annoyed and frustrated I hear about "Polish concentration camps".

History is complicated, it's rarely black-and-white.

@rysiek @paulfree14 what is f… up exactly? Which line from the new law prohibits you from discussing crimes committed by Poles?

The problem is that there is a massive FUD promoted about the law you did not even see hence you cannot verify whether it is true.

Why those FUD articles do not quote the law’s text directly?

There were Jews who collaborated with the Nazis too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Jewish_Nazi_collaborators that is not an excuse for misinformation.

@paulfree14 did you even read (with comprehension) linked article?

You are still allowed to discuss crimes committed by the Polish people, but you cannot promote misinformation like e.g. Auschwitz was The Polish Death Camp.
