I am an IWW living in Baltimore. I started a workers cooperative bike shop. Now I work at a democratic school. I have hording kind of thing ... but with books. I ride a bike to work ... and a few times a year I ride a bike for fun too.

@jash my first impression of the description from the school: sounds amaizing, and wishing more of such would exist.
Will take a deeper look somewhen later, and guess come back with some questions.

@paulfree14 my biggest problem with the model is that it currently available to so few people. Geographical and economic barriers, and just lack of awareness keep this kind of education from being an option for kids. But I think it would be a better way for young people to educate themselves. The young people at our school seem to me to big figuring the world and their place in it with the seriousness and playfulness you could hope for.
