I like to know more about the founding of and how it's connected to

- assimilation of culture to maintain power

what I've got sofar:
- jews been rebelling against the roman empire (see also the 'jewish war' 60 n. Chr.)
- roman-chatolic church reffers to a writing as their founding myth, in which jesus, as writen, took strong position against the jewish teaching Pharisäer and Sadduzäer.

@paulfree14 a large part of early teachings were actually about that Christianity stemmed from Judaism (Jesus was a Jew himself) and how the new movement should strive to include both Jews and gentiles. So in the Bible itself this is already partly addressed, although my guess is that potential antisemitic thoughts arose later?
